Recently had a lovely stay at The Merchants Manor in Falmouth, Cornwall.
The hotel has a very homely feel, relaxed atmosphere and great restaurant Rastella
where we indulged in their special seven course tasting menu. All locally produced fare of the highest quality and cooked/displayed beautifully.
The mainly young staff were very friendly, helpful and charming.
Falmouth itself is a real foodie destination packed with a huge range of cafés, restaurant and pubs, most of which had great reviews on Trip Advisor.
There are also 2 lovely beaches, plenty of shops, the National Maritime Museum and beautiful gardens packed with sub tropical plants.
