Reasons for trip

Rated one of the top ten Christmas Markets in the country I can see why. The setting is beautiful, on the Cathedral Green, but don’t worry, flooring has been put down to prevent the grass from turning to mud, and to protect your footwear.

Christmas shopping made easy with such an array of high quality crafts available, some quite different to goods I have seen elsewhere.

And the street food…. I want to go back each day to try the next stall, and the next, and the next. The smells alone make you hungry. Such a choice.

Cold fingers wrapped around a cup of hot mulled wine, punch or cider while listening to the music of a local busker. What could be better on a cold winters day.
