In September, we will be taking our first overseas holiday since the first lockdown – and plans included the search for travel insurance. Not knowing what to expect with inflation affecting all the costs, I began by an on-line search of comparisons to get a picture of the current market rates.
Then I turned to Silver Travel Adviser to seek advice and was pleased to see there was a partnership with StaySure, a company we have used several times in past years.
After reading the information on the website, I submitted details for single-trip coverage overseas for a week in the Canaries – and when the quotation arrived, the Silver Travel discount had helped to produce a figure which was actually below the lowest figure in my original on-line search (which had included several ‘new’ company names I had never heard of!) This was double-reassurance to go ahead and the process was even more straightforward and clear than I had expected.
