The hotel was located in the older part of town. Porto is hilly and steep so expect a walk downhill or uphill depending where you are going!
The hotel is modern and tries to present an image which it does. Our room was fine and located at the back of the hotel which meant it was quiet. We found the bed much too hard for our liking- nothing we could do about that!.
Breakfast was ok/average – about 3 star plus – I have experienced better at four star hotels. There tended to be only one person on the reception desk so often calls to reception went unanswered if that person was dealing with guests and we experienced this when calling reception.
On balance, a sensible hotel at a reasonable price to stay and recommended but I suggest to ask for a quiet room at the back of the hotel.
