Just a few minutes from Manchester airport, this hotel is a gem set in the countryside with beautiful grounds. A free taxi service to and from the airport or train station makes it easy to reach, although there is ample parking if travelling by car. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, but it is the accommodation and the breakfast which makes this hotel first class. Our rooms were 5* standard, with each room including an individual touch that made it different from the others. It looked as if it had recently been refurbished to the highest standard and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a sumptuous affair with a huge selection of juices, fresh fruit , and cereals, and the cooked breakfast was perfectly cooked to order and hot. They even had vegetarian sausages on the menu for me! A selection of jams and marmalade with hot toast, croissants and pastries was the perfect finish to our very filling meal. The serving staff were a delight!

A comfortable lounge in the foyer provided the perfect place for an evening drink to round off the day.

I would revisit this hotel in a heartbeat! Highly recommended.
