Whilst on a cruise we had a coach trip to Ephesus. It was truly amazing. First we visited the house that St John had built for Mary, the mother of Jesus. It was so peaceful. Then our coach took us to Ephesus itself. We were dropped at the top of the valley for a mile and a half walk down. Our guide was knowagable and interesting. It was brilliant to link our modern bible to events that happened at Ephesus. An amazing ruin.
