The cruise through Holland including crossing the Zuiderzee, visits to a number of interesting harbours where there were many restored sailing boats and
historic buildings along the harbour, excursions along rivers and canals with extensive views of waterside landscapes including traditional windmills and towns. We visited the Royal Palace and the high light of the trip the amazing Keukenhof Garden which in springtime was magnificent. The final port of call was Amsterdam where we enjoyed a canal cruise. The cuisine was exceptional and the entertainment was brilliant. We thought the cabins were a little dark being finished in dark timber cladding and it’s better to ask for a top deck cabin with a patio window to avoid being docked next to the harbour wall without a view. The crew were very friendly and knowledgable and made us feel welcome.
