There is a limited amount of disabled parking in the cathedral ground, but this has to be arranged in advance by ringing the cathedral on 01353 660344. Visitors can be dropped off near the west door. There are plenty of car parks close to the cathedral.

Standard entry charges apply to disabled people, although carers are admitted free. Assistance dogs are welcome.

The recommended entry for wheelchairs is by the south door. The west door can be access by ramps provided by cathedral staff. The ground floor of the cathedral is accessible by wheelchair . The Stained Glass Museum in the south west triforium is reached by a steep staircase. The tour towers also involve a lot of steps and are not recommended for people with mobility issues or health problems. The cathedral has a few wheelchairs available.

There are disabled toilets in the Processional Way between the north choir aisle and the Lady Chapel.
