My husband and I always enjoy watching the TV programme Pointless and I used the website SRO audiences to book tickets for us to watch the show being recorded. Straightforward to apply for tickets, giving a choice of dates, and then we received the email confirmation a couple of weeks later.
Clear travel directions and relevant instructions for entry to the studio were given in the email. We travelled by train to Elstree and Borehamwood Station, then had a ten minute stroll through the shops to the studio. Thee is a good sized lounge to wait in with comfortable chairs and a bar/coffee counter. We had booked for the afternoon so watched two shows being recorded; then there was to be another recording, of one show, in the evening.
Xandra and Richard seemed just as friendly and relaxed as they do on TV and it was a really fun afternoon, especially as it is completely free. I didn’t notice re suitability for disabled persons though thinking of how we had to walk through various little corridors, probably not good.
