Good clean and fresh room with comfortable bed, good shower room and toiletries, kettle with Tea n Coffee and a bottle of ‘Perfectly Drinkable TAP water’ (which it was).
Adequate hanging and drawer space.
Relatively small flat-screen tv was adequate for our limited needs on this 2-night visit.
Good choice and quality hot breakfast – as well as cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts etc.

About 30 minutes casual walk into town – or take the bus/taxi if you prefer to leave the car behind. Parking in town is generally ‘pay at meter’ or ‘limited to 2 hours’ – so best to park in the retail park beside Aldi, Tesco etc on the Soroba Road side of town (24 hours free for cars) and walk the last couple of hundred yards.
We were here for two nights to attend a family funeral on one of the nearby islands, where accommodation is at a premium – the Elderslie met our needs very well.
