A new cafe has opened in Stratford, Ontario that serves some delicious fare. My sister and I checked it out a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed a selection of goodies. It is a small place; very narrow with only a few tables. When we went in it was empty but by the time we were seated it was filling up fast. I had a very nice latte, chocolate chip cookie and dark chocolate biscotti. The latter was not crispy as I expected but it was still very tasty – not sweet. My sister tried the breakfast cookie and the rosemary shortbread – also very good.
When we’re out shopping it is definitely somewhere I would venture again. Maybe next time I’ll stop in for lunch as the paninis looked good.
If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Stratford, the café is also an Inn and has three rooms to let in addition to a cottage off-site. If the refurbishment of the café is anything to go by, the rooms pictured on the website should be very nice as well.
