When we opened the front door of this stone built barn conversion we had rented we thought we had stumbled into the country retreat of some movie star ! As the kids of today say, definitely a "Wow" factor ! We were welcomed by low lights lit in a tasteful lounge, big settees, a stone built fireplace, a large wall mounted TV and in a hidden nook a state of the art music center The Kitchen/diner adjoining was awesome. A huge black glass dining table laid out with crimson place mats, hidden floor lighting and every kitchen appliance( all in stainless steel) imaginable. The three bedrooms were superb, all in oak beams and massive beds and two were on–suite. The bathrooms beautifully appointed and the whole Barn with windows looking out onto pleasant fields and woodland. Deer usually make an appearance around breakfast time ! To the rear there is a Patio with garden furniture, night lights and a BBQ area. Plenty of parking in this isolated, conversion and the helpful owners conveniently living next door. Excursions to beautiful Bowness with its Marinas, luxury boat trips on the massive lake and stately swans is just a short drive away. Can't cook or won't cook ? You are spoilt for choice in this bustling Town with its abundance of Taverns Cafe/bars and Restaurants.
