This is a little gem of a house situated in the picturesque village of Berkeley. Dr Jenner lived here and worked as the local doctor while also pursuing his scientific career. He was credited with the introduction of the smallpox vaccination and in the garden you can find the little outbuilding where he vaccinated the local children for free.
Start by watching the video which outlines his achievements and then explore the rest of the house where you are introduced to his other varied interests.
Although you can picnic in the garden the village has more than one lovely coffee shop/cafe to visit for refreshment.
