We travelled to Blackpool on Sunday 17 June this year for a golden break holiday at the Doric Hotel.The reception staff are very friendly and the hotel porter takes your cases to your room. All the waiting staff and bar staff are a credit to the hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfasts are very well prepared and very tasty. You can get very tasty snacks at lunch time and the six course dinner is exceptional. There are cheap drinks in the afternoon and also before 9.30pm. However the hotel entertainment is average. Although if you like it there is bingo every night. The hotel is on the north side of Blackpool and there is an excellent bus and tram service to other parts of Blackpool.
