We recently travelled to London to visit the Dr Who Experience at Olympia. We had a timed ticket and arrived a little early as instructed. However on arrival, we were told to join the queue. This went for a long distance. We eventually discovered that in the morning the Experience machinery had broken down. The huge queue was the backlog of people waiting to get in! After queuing for an hour and ten minutes we finally gained admission.
The actual Experience was good, but I felt far too rushed . You could have as long as you wanted to visit the exhibition. This included costumes from all eleven Doctors, and numerous monster costumes. There was also a tardis control deck, a short film on the making of the show, and a studio set, where they created the monsters designs.
We made the most of our visit, but don't feel it would really be worth the £20 admission fee.
