I visited The Deli today with a friend for a coffee. The Deli is a cafe/ small delicatessen that sells lovely homemade / locally sourced food. Behind the counter are numerous home made pies of various flavours, quiches, homity pies, scones, biscuits! It all looked really yummy!
This time, my friend and I just had a coffee each, a flat white, and americano. Both were served in lovely cups and nice and flavoursome. It was a lovely warm welcoming space, great for escaping the cold!
As well as a full range of coffees, The Deli also has a wide range of teas, herbal, fruit and normal, plus hot chocolate.
The cafe has about 6 tables inside. Each located by a window, so lovely for people watching. In the summer there are tables outside too on the pedestrian only Strand.
We enjoyed our short visit today, enough to enable us to have the energy for a sea front walk!
