Reasons for trip

It is a few years since I had been to this teahouse but a recent visit has brought it back to the fore in our list of places to eat in Sarnia, Ontario. It is located in the middle of a garden centre and has lovely fresh produce. There is a patio in the summer months in addition to the teahouse itself. Although not wheelchair accessible, if you call ahead, the staff will ensure access. The washroom is upstairs in the teahouse, however there is an accessible washroom in the garden centre. We had no reservation and were able to get a good seat inside.

I had one of the daily quiche dishes (asparagus, crab and asiago cheese) with the mandarin orange and cashew salad and my aunt had a trio: daily soup which was tomato vegetable, mandarin orange and cashew salad, and half a crab melt sandwich. It was all delicious. Our lunches and coffees came to $36.
