Reasons for trip

Hotel reception makes good first impression except for the long queues. Room not ready so they stored cases and we went to have a snack in one of the bars. Hotel is modern and bright. Rooms are good size and even the standard rooms have reasonable view across part of edge of town and woods behind hotel.

There is tea/ coffee making facilities but would recommend bringing your own tea/ coffee.

Short walk to beach but not easily accessible for less agile visitors. However a short walk towards town and the front is easy to access.

The hotel offers buffet meals or a rota of a la carte restaurants. The biggest let down with this hotel is the food. Much of it is in need of seasoning as it is low on flavour. All of it is barely tepid. The only time we had anything hot was at the Babbo burger grill, one of the a lacarte choices,( available 3 days over weekend) and this was served hot enough to need blowing.. 2ladies at the next table ordered off the La Trattoria menu and enfered up walking out because they daid there was no tadte in the pasta sauce.
