My son took me last Sunday to Wisley to see the tulips (inter alia). I was rather stressed, having had a puncture in the car from a deep pothole the day before. The tulips were really lovely – I especially liked the orange ones. The vibrant displays, like rivers, of red, orange & yellow were wonderful. It lifted my spirits. We saw other spring flowers and shrubs but the tulips were the highlight.
