We just stumbled across this treasure, but it is well worth searching out, near the cruise terminal and next to the convention cenrtre, hidden away below the swing bridge over the river on SE 17th St. Approach from Eisenhower Boulevard and walk/drive towards the bridge.
Eat in or take-away meals, daytime only. Fantastic fresh salad ingredients which you can mix and match and all their meat is high welfare unlike the majority of US meat. Grass-fed beef, outdoor reared pork (pulled pork to die for) and free-range chicken. I also had a small lentil, beetoot and goats cheese “cereal bowl” which you have in larger form as a main meal. Shame that, even eating in, you are given plastic disposable containers and cutlery, but i think this was the most delicioùs meal I have ever had for any price, and this was only $15 (£11).
