In the Tavistock area recently for a couple of nights and stopped at Yelverton for a quick lunch (whilst a hail storm raged outside, bizarrely, followed by a sunny afternoon!) The coffee was amazing – oak milk option available as well, which we’ve just switched to! The soups smelled gorgeous but we went for the swirls – bread baked with different fillings (I went for cheese and marmite). Delicious, and such a cosy, warm and welcoming place. Would love to go back with more of an appetite and more time! Would suit families, singles, walkers, old and young – a friendly corner cafe for locals and tourists exploring the moors. Street parking outside and a small car park a matter of metres away.
