In May 2011 Dartington Hall held a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of an Indian poet called Rabindreth Tagore. My old college friends invited me to be part of the celebrations by enjoying an overnight stay at Dartington Hall. I attended moving talks by varous famous writers and poets including the last Poet Laureate Andrew Motion.

Dartington Hall is a beautiful, peaceful place where you can relax completely away from the craziness that has become the norm in our world. The grounds are exquisite, the food wholesome, largely organic and beautifully cooked and presented. Truly a wonderful place to get away from it all.
