We have had the pleasure of visiting Darleys Restaurant on a few occasions now. It is not a cheap restaurant, but is without doubt in the top few restaurants in Derby. It does have a limited menu, but I have yet to hear anyone say anything detrimental about it. The staff are always friendly and pleasant. There has been a change of ownership in the last year, but fortunately the standards have not slipped. The portions are not huge, but immensely satisfying and I always enjoy the anticipation of returning there. There are lovely views of the river Derwent from the windows and a table with views of the river can be requested when booking.
