Dar Zamora is a small hotel owned by an English couple which provides complete tranquility with its spacious gardens and full size pool. It is an ideal place to just relax or to return to from a busy day’s shopping at the souk.

The ‘home cooking’ is delicious and the seven-course Moroccan sampler menu is memorable. The friendly staff and excellent service add to the pleasure.

The hotel is in a quiet suburb, a 10-minute taxi ride from the historic buildings and bazaars of Marrakech – but it is easier and cheaper to use the hotel’s recommended drivers to travel to the centre and back and for other sight-seeing trips.
