The quirky Crown & Trumpet Inn in Broadway is situated right in the village. Ideal for a one night stay in the Cotswolds, it has a great atmosphere and is a perfect base for exploring. The food is wholesome pub grub and they have a good selection of local cider and cask ales. The building dates from the 17th century, so as you would expect, the floors are wibbly wobbly.The bedroom and huge bathroom were decorated in a shabby chic style and the owner will proudly tell you he designed all the rooms himself, sourcing antiques to make each room unique. The pub has benches outside for you to lap up the evening sunshine and even a friendly cat which will jump on your knee without much encouragement! This was our second visit and we'll definitely return.
