Crathorne was built in 1906. We were very lucky to have a"Classic" room called Ingleby, which had a roll top bath, and amazing old green tiles, taps, "plug" for "waste", etc.. Apart from the bath, the bathroom was very modern, the room extremely quiet and with everything you could need. Breakfast was special, with white linen, and waitress service for hot dishes. A wide variety, from 3 types of porridge to smoked salmon, full English, kippers, smoked haddock, etc..
