Was here for work visit (accompanied for a change!). Nice wee town with local shops (even if many of them sold ‘yachting’ stuff). M found some good new items in the kitchen shop (she can’t pass-by such a shop!). A choice of pubs and restaurants all close by in the town centre. two decent supermarkets if you’re self-catering (as we were) – Sainsburys and M&S Food. There’s a frequent bus service to Newport where there are connections to the rest of the island (I was working every day so didn’t get a chance to experiment with those). Lots going on on the Solent and the Medina for ship-watchers.
