Reasons for trip

For one week in December Coughton Court decorates for Christmas with lovely Christmas Trees in the house, a Christmas Market in the stables and the Church warm and welcoming with some free coffee. There is Christmas food to taste in the market, and a good place to find some different Christmas presents. If going at the week-end you can pre-book your time in the house to ensure you have a chance to visit and that it is not sold out when you wish to visit. There is good food in the tea shop to keep you going. Although the Christmas week has gone this year, so the house is closed now, it is worth a visit on future years.

The gardens are mainly closed in December but the walled garden is wonderful in the summer.
