My husband and I travelled by train from Grantham to Peterborough for a day out. It was our first visit to the city, which was a very pleasant surprise, especially the cathedral and its precinct.
We have eaten in Cote Brasseries before so were pleased to find one in Peterborough with a lunch menu which was great value. Full marks to this branch – the staff were excellent, especially the waitress. It was a great atmosphere with several “silver” couples and groups having lunch, many of whom were obviously regulars.
The food is delicious and there’s a good choice for vegetarians.
