The host, Sara, greeted me with a glass of port and sweet biscuits. Later she provided me with detailed and accurate suggestions of where to eat locally and what to visit in Porto. Although I was a single traveller my room was one large bedroom in the Miró apartment. The room was pleasant and quiet. However, there was no wardrobe or drawers in which to store my clothes. As I was staying for only one night, this was not a problem. However, it would have been if my stay had been longer. Also the shower in the bathroom, although serviceable, was in need of repair. However, the welcome, general ambience and cold buffet breakfast were all excellent and well worth the modest charge of 55 Euro.
