This was our first meal in New Orleans after arriving late, and we wanted to experience the whole ‘balcony’ experience of NOLA. This one fitted the bill perfectly. We also had our first (and only!) taste of jambalaya, which was interesting, quite spicy in parts. The restaurant itself is very average but we did sit on the corner with great views of the nightlife in Bourbon Street, the main hub of the French quarter, and it is this location that made it great! It does involve stairs of course but there is a lift although it could be tricky for someone with mobility problems to get there. Having said that, as New Orleans is a ‘walking’ city, you have to plan where you go.
