The Corinthia Hotel in Budapest is HUGE. I can recommend it for its food, service, and magnificent lobby. The bar is very nice with a string quartet or harp player in the evenings. It is in the theatre district just off Andrassy Avenue. However, we stayed in room 2114, which had a smell of 'poo' in the bathroom when we arrived, and the shower was dreadful. No power at all, and difficult to control the temperature. Also, the carpet was a little grubby and it was difficult to control the air-con. The bed was hard too! That aside, we had a wonderful time in Budapest.
