I have eaten at a couple of these “Cora”:http://www.chezcora.com/en restaurants, a chain in Canada, and I’ve always been impressed with the food. Essentially they are a breakfast and lunch eatery. I tried a different one today in London, Ontario and found it to be consistent with my experiences in Saskatchewan. The service is efficient and friendly and the food is delicious. We both had the Sunshine panini-crêpe which contains egg, ham and cheese. What I particularly like is the quality and variety of the fresh fruit the meals are served with. Many restaurants provide a bit of melon and some grapes in a fruit bowl. However, Cora’s cover half the plate with melon, banana, strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, blueberries and grapes. It makes for a refreshing change.
A coffee/latte (decaf for the latter) rounded off our meals nicely.
If you’re driving along and see a huge sun on a sign that says Cora, you know you’re in the right place. In Quebec they’re called Chez Cora.
They open early at 6:00 am but close at 3:00 pm.
Parking is very convenient as the restaurant is in a strip mall.
