We have stayed at quite a few hotels in North Wales and always found Llandudno to be a good central location for all of North Wales. For the days you don’t want to travel around, Llandudno has plenty to offer. The best hotel we have stayed at is The Clontarf hotel which has some small sea view rooms, which are luxury appointed and some large rooms with views of the Great Orme. Kings size beds, power showers, full size baths, 4 posters, you name it, they seem to have a room that meets your needs. The owners are young (under 50!), but know exactly what people need. The food is excellent. We would recommend this hotel without a second thought. Location is perfect.
