This Clarion Collection hotel is a great choice for central Copenhagen. It is in the mid price range for the country and is five minute walk from both the Railway Station and Tivoli Gardens.
All of the nearby attractions are within walking distance of the hotel.
The hotel is sparklingly clean and superbly decorated.
It has a couple of beautiful sitting rooms, very comfortably furnished, and a smart internet station (2 terminals) which are free for guests to use.
The bedrooms are admittedly a little on the small side and those on the top floor will find sloping attic style walls, so the taller people had better beware. Rooms are en-suite and well maintained.
The dining rooms are modern and bright and in common with the rest of the hotel chain, the inclusive breakfasts and evening meals are self service buffets with a range of good quality local food, most of it organic, some hot, some cold and as much of it as you care to eat!
These are excellent value and a factor to bear in mind as the restaurants in Copenhagen can be on the expensive side.
The outside courtyard is a relaxing and enclosed area where you can relax on easy chairs and sofas, away from the hustle and bustle, although the area is overlooked by some bedroom windows.
There is also free tea, coffee, cakes and fresh fruit available all day.
The all important staff are genuinely friendly and multi-lingual, ever helpful with any query. Access for the disabled could be a problem as there are steps up to the main entrance.
For the easily offended it should be noted that there is a lap-dancing club opposite the main entrance to the hotel, but this should not put anyone off as the premises do not cause any problems apparently and there was no sign of any problems when I was there.
Overall this is a good place to stay and I was sorry to leave, which says it all.
