This is a great hotel for anyone to stay in. It is owned by a Swiss/Egyptian couple so it runs efficiently with a laid back feel!
Everywhere is clean and rooms are comfortable with plumbing that works which is unusual in Egypt. All the staff are kind and friendly and the food is great..
The hotel is right on the beach with access to a fabulous reef full of the most beautiful fish. There are places to rent or buy snorkel gear and lots of good dive schools too.
Dahab is a really relaxed, laid back little town and perfectly safe for women on their own. Visitors here tend to be travellers rather than tourists so it's common to find yourself in a group of many nationalities discussing the day's adventures over a fresh fruit juice or a cold beer.
It's not so good for disabled or people with mobility problems as curbs are high and pavements uneven or non existent!
There's a decent swimming pool which is sheltered from the sea breeze.
