Reasons for trip

As a convinced chocoholic, I jumped at the chance of attending the most spectacular event for all chocolate lovers. Frankly, I cannot think of a better way to spend your day in Singapore than at the Chocolate Buffet feast at The Fullerton Hotel. This magnificent even only happens on Fridays and Saturdays , but what a spectacular show! If you are like me , and think that a “ chocolate buffet” means 3 course meal and then some chocolate cake with your tea then you are up for a surprise of a lifetime. All you see in a huge foyer on the ground floor of the Fullerton is chocolate. Cakes, biscuits, chocolate fountain, hand-made chocolates. The trays are replaced as soon as they are emptied, and this extravaganza never seem to end. You are served some tea or coffee, ( or hot chocolate!)and off you go, filling your plates with the goodies. Then sit and enjoy. Repeat till you cannot move anymore. Do not, under any circumstances try to attend this event AFTER a meal, or BEFORE your flight home. At least all I had to do was to get myself to the lift, go up a few floors, fall on my bed and groan. Despite being a chocoholic eating so much chocolate has really tested my strength. But I can honestly confess this was the best day I`ve spent in Singapore. Would I change anything if I go back there? Maybe just one bit. I would pace myself at the Chocolate Buffet.
