Reasons for trip

Neither my husband nor I had not visited Cheddar Gorge for well over 50 years. We were not disappointed. We booked an all in tour which included tours around some caves and a tour on an open topped bus. The bus tour was spectacular with excellent commentary. After an early lunch in a lovely little cafe we toured two caves which were presented completely differently. One had lighting and a taped commentary on handsets and the other was more high tech. Both brought the history to life.

We rounded off our day with a little shopping (cider) and felt that the cost of the all in ticket was well worth it.

We stayed in Weston Super Mare which we also enjoyed.
