Perhaps it’s because the kids are still at school but this is one of the most peaceful and relaxing we have stayed on. The noisiest thing being the crows.
Good facilities, great wardens, nice flat fully serviced pitch and very lucky to get one with plenty of sunshine and not under any trees.
The key to the magical Kingdom beyond the gate into the Chatsworth Estate makes it that little bit special.
Lots to do in the local area including Bakewell and I can also vouch for the Peaks Ales and Chatsworth Gin.
