Despite the weather, somewhere I have always wanted to visit and I was disappointed. The house was a delight to wander around, well organised and set out. My Mum was in a wheelchair and they couldn't have been more helpful. She had to go in the lift and there was always someone available to escort her, we didn't have to wait once.
The restaurant was good and the shop had plenty to look at (and buy). One tip is to book in advance through the website as you get a discount for doing this. Just print or take your booking reference and tickets are produced on the desk.
We were there 5 hours and would thoroughly recommend this as a great day out and we didn't even get outside!
