This hotel is right next to Charing Cross underground station making it very convenient for transport links. The bathroom was modern and the room spacious. Surprisingly for the location it was also a very quiet room with only the police sirens spoiling the serenity. Emergency service sirens being the price you pay for staying in a large city. It included a coffee machine, tea making, free internet and two TV’s (one in the lounge area and one in the bedroom). The shower was hot and powerful but water tended to splash over as there is no barrier to stop it.
Breakfast, although continental (you can upgrade) was very tasty and a meal in the evening was inexpensive but beautifully cooked.
The staff very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area.
A hidden gem as the entrance is difficult to spot until you are upon it (look for the Bureau de Change opposite St. Pancras/Kings Cross) but well worth a stay.
