After a day of walking around Newcastle-Upon-Tyne we found “Central Oven and Shaker”:http://www.centralnewcastle.co.uk/ across from the train station for our evening meal before catching the train back to Berwick-Upon-Tweed. We walked over 11 miles that day or 27,895 steps and it was a great relaxing spot. We had a window seat so were able to people (and statue) watch in the pedestrian shopping area while we waited for our food. This is a Neopolitan pizza place so we ordered a couple of pizzas to share, fries, sweet potato fries, alcoholic drinks and gelato for £54. The pizza had a nice thin crust and the fries had two dips – garlic aioli and a tomato salsa. There are gluten free pizza crusts if you need.
We must have been hungry because we had all devoured the food before I thought to take any photos of the food. We did take photos of ourselves having fun at the table before the food arrived.
