Centre Parcs – why it is a family favourite
A mid winter break is just what the doctor ordered! Time away to enjoy family life under the warm dome of the best swimming pool and play area I have ever encountered. Cabins are strategically placed so you are unaware of the hundreds of others dotted around you. Views of the lakes with an abundance of wildlife – ducks, squirrels, deer and rabbits fascinate both old and young alike. On a budget? There is no need to spend a fortune on extra activities. Bring your own bikes – go for beautiful walks – compare the atmosphere between day and evening time under the dome when all the coloured lights shine inside and out. Cook your own meals in the well prepared kitchen area within your accommodation and play late into the evening having dusted off and brought along treasured board games. The children will enjoy time away from computer screens (WiFi is available) and the nostalgia of times gone past for the older generation is bliss! A weekend trip doesn’t break the bank unless you have to travel during school holidays and can be a wonderful get together for family and friends. Thoroughly recommended!
