The staff were brilliant, couldn’t do enough for you. Would have been 5 star except for a few things.
1. There are posters all over the ship about washing hands regularly in warm soapy water. The taps in the toilets are automatic and despite running though 4 cycles on a few occasions the water was still cold. In 2 weeks I think water only came through warm 3 times.
2. The company slogan of “Save the Waves” seems a bit empty. At the end of meal service in buffet, they wrap the food islands in cling film for cleaning and preparing for next meal. Why? Such a waste. Also every drink, martini, spirit with mixer, etc. came with a straw. Looking around most people took them out and I can’t remember seeing anyone drinking through them. It may be nothing to do with the source but there has been a lot in the media about straws ending up in the oceans so why add to the problem. One 5 star nicety that can be removed.
Having contacted them would be nice to go with them again to see if anything changes, could fault them on any other criteria.
