We travelled with Thomson to the island of Tenerife earlier in February and found the Hotel Catalonia Las Vegas to be the perfect place to stay. The hotel is in a prime spot in the resort of Puerto de la Cruz. The food at the hotel was varied and it was always hot. I would recommend this hotel for retired people because there were not many families or younger people about, although this could be because of work/school commitments at this time of the year.
