My wife and I took advantage of Carluccios current offer of two main courses for the price of one. We were very pleased with our meal.

We started with some mixed olives whilst our main courses were cooked. We chose from the specials board. I enjoyed braised beef in a rich sauce on a purée of celeriac and carrot topped with sage leaves. My wife tucked in to a radicchio and red wine risotto. Both dishes were very tasty. We followed with poached pears in saffron sauce – again a delicious dish.

The Harrogate restaurant is relatively new. Décor is light and modern. Service from our waitress, Rebecca, was friendly and attentive and not at all rushed. Altogether we enjoyed an excellent and reasonably priced meal out.
