This is the ideal place for some quiet relaxation. Situated amidst the beauty of north-west Donegal, it is entirely your decision to get out and about or take it easy. Most rooms look over Keadue Strand and Cruit Island (pronounced Critch). There are several golf courses within easy reach, including a 9-hole course on Cruit Island. Also within easy reach are ferries to off-shore Islands, ideal for day trips, especially for those who enjoy walking. Hill walkers will be spoilt for choice, with many geocaches for followers of this hobby. If history is your interest you have many opportunities to discover. Donegal has a multitude of beautiful strands, you choose to laze or exercise.
The hotel is family-run and it shows in the personal attention given to guests. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. Guests have use of the cosy bar, a pleasant dining room and a comfortable lounge. A good choice of wholesome food for breakfast, lunch and dinner is complemented by the friendly staff.
We stayed here in April 2014 and looked forward to coming back, which we have just done (Feb 2015), and now look forward to being back.
For those travelling from further afield Donegal Airport is 5 minutes away with connections daily from Dublin and Glasgow.
