Before leaving home we booked only the first few nights and the last few nights of our three weeks in BeNeLux and Germany, so we would flexibility to stay longer if we were enjoying a site and the surroundings. We contacted Camping Warnsborn, by e-mail, just the day before we planned to arrive, and had a reply within a couple of hours.
On arrival we received a very friendly welcome with clear information about where to pitch, where the various facilities were, availability of bread and newspapers, marked walks in the adjoining forest, etc. etc. and were made welcome to come and ask questions at any time. We were given not only a campsite map but also a local area map and an Arnhem town map, all three of which were very useful.
The whole campsite was well tended. There were adequate water taps. The ablution facilities were spotless at all times, and there were lots of them. The gate was closed 11pm until 7.15am for security. We were pleased that there were recycling bins.
This is a lovely quiet, calm campsite, wonderful for a relaxing break, with large pitches for tents, motorhomes and caravans, two statics to rent and two trekker huts.
This campsite offers privacy, nature, and birdlife in the shade of the pine trees. It is great for walking, cycling and visiting small villages (we especially recommend Otterlo).
Arnhem is a short cycle away, or a short bus ride from the nearby bus stop.
