OK .. anyone with a remote interest in football and who visits Barcelona will visit the home of Football Club Barcelona – as did we. This is already a magnificent stadium, and the plans in place to develop it further (whilst utilising the existing structure and continuing their games there) are well presented. There’s a ‘free to visit’ area including the presentation of the re-development and, of course, the shop (on three floors!) among other things. The stadium tour is well worth a visit (reduced price for +70 so didn’t qualify – should have made the trip next January) …from the history of the club and the trophy area and, of course, getting into the stands; down to the player’s tunnel area; and the visiting-team dressing room etc makes this a must-do visit. Adult entry price was 23Euro pp and there was a 5% discount for coming from the tour bus. Camp Nou, like other venues, can be accessed by train/metro and foot if you’re happy to make the effort. The view from the stands to the ground is the best I’ve seen.
