We chose Cambridge for our annual meeting with ex-members of the British International School in Lagos. We stayed at Alder Lodge on the outskirts of Cambridge but it is opposite a bus stop that conveys travellers every ten minutes into Cambridge during the day and was ideal for getting in and out. Our main ‘stay’ was the Novi restaurant in Regent Street and it was fine for meeting up as it ‘welcomes’ children and animals though was rather expensive in my opinion. Cambridge is ideal for strolling around and we spent the afternoon doing this before sampling a few pubs in the evening before returning to our accommodation.
